Online Beam Intensity System Dynamic Range Calculator (greater than 7.62 meters)

Use this calculator to get the minimum and maximum amount of light in candela or effective candela either the IL1700 or the IL1400 Radiometer/Photometer can measure at a user-definable distance greater than 7.62 meters (25 feet).

Beam Candela, not to be confused with Mean Spherical Candela (which must be measured in an integrating sphere) is the measure of the lumens per steradian at the peak intensity of the beam and samples only a very narrow angle of the beam. The sampling angle need not be defined.
