IL1700 Serial Cable Information
Recommended Serial Adapter Cable For IL1700 To 9pin PC Serial Port
The 25 pin serial port of the IL1700 and the 25 pin serial port of the IL1400/A510 requires an adapter plug or cable to adapt to the PC 9 pin serial port. The pin connections are as follows:

Download the LabView self-contained .exe file for interfacing to a PC computer.
Your local computer store should have a cable or adapter that meets these requirements. We have found that the RadioShack Double-Shielded RS-232C Male DB25 to Female DB9, part number 26-269, works fine for most PC computers.
Note: The IL1700 COMPUTER/PRINTER switch on the back of the IL1700 should be in the PRINTER position when used with the above adapter.
