Fiber Optics
Designed for dealing with intense heat and UV radiation in a minimum amount of space, the PIN probe utilizes quartz fiber optics. This miniature fiber optic probe consists of a thin quartz fiber surrounded by surgical stainless stell tubing, for protection. The probe can fit through a 0.062" (1.6 mm) diameter hole, and offers a ± 15° acceptance angle (±10° at 254 nm, ±20° at 550 nm), for noninvasive monitoring of high intensity sources and UV curing ovens.
