Automotive lighting includes a vast array of light sources and applications including UV to allow rapid curing of paints and adhesive, headlight and tail light testing, touch screen displays and other notification illumination as well as TV and cabin lights.  There are many standards that are used for testing automotive lighting. Headlights and tail lights must have the correct level of candela to assure safe driving and coverage of the correct working area and distances. Displays lighting must be bright enough to be seen both day and night without risk of night blindness.
